Don’t miss our final markets of 2024! Join us on 26th and 27th October to start your Christmas shopping early and meet some of the region's most talented makers!
At Tissington Craft Fairs, we take great pride in curating artisan markets that showcase the finest handcrafted and independently designed products.
Our focus on quality and originality ensures that each item comes with its own unique tale, offering visitors the chance to connect with the maker behind the piece and gain a deeper appreciation for their skill and dedication. At this weekends market visitors can explore a diverse selection of products from stunning Peak District photography and jigsaws to vibrant alcohol ink artwork and charming needle felted decorations.
The picture postcard village of Tissington is located just a few minutes drive from the popular market town of Ashbourne in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District. Our venue, Tissington Village Hall, is located across the road from the idyllic village duck pond. The building benefits from a Wi-Fi connection, which means many of our stallholders can accept card payments, helping you shop with ease.
This Weekend's Makers
Our makers markets feature a changing lineup of small artisan businesses to provide an exciting and enjoyable experience every time you visit.
Here's a sneak peek at some of the stalls you can expect to discover:
Whimsical nature inspired needlefelting by Bluebell Felties - (26th October)
The majority of the wool used in Vicky’s work comes from her own small flock of Ryeland sheep. Before the needle felting can begin, the fleeces have to be carefully washed and combed by hand. Knowing that the raw material has been provided by Patchy, Bracken, Bramble and Primrose makes each piece all the more special. Vicky’s nature inspired creations include 3D ornaments, hanging decorations, magnets and keyrings.
Inspirational Peak District Photography by Peaklass - (26th - 27th October)
Inspired by the changing landscape of the Peak District throughout the seasons, Suzanne aims to capture the little moments you may otherwise miss. Her range of cards, prints, calendars and gifts bring a little piece of the national park into your home.
Pyrography art and wood turning by CG WoodCrafts - (26th - 27th October)
Carrie’s small business started as a way for her to channel her creativity. Taking inspiration from nature, adventure and the great outdoors, her pieces are made from locally sourced materials wherever possible. Her range includes everything from bud vases and trinket boxes to earrings and bookmarks.
