  • Tissington Village Hall The Green Ashbourne, England, DE6 1RA United Kingdom (map)

Escape to the scenic beauty of Tissington this Spring bank holiday weekend and find that perfect, one-of-a-kind piece to cherish at Tissington Craft Fair!

At Tissington Craft Fairs, we take great pride in curating artisan markets that showcase the finest handcrafted and independently designed products.

By prioritising quality and originality, our markets offer visitors the opportunity to explore a varied collection of products from detailed pyrography and canal art to enamel jewellery and Japanese inspired homewares all reflecting the skill and passion of our artisan makers.  Support independent small businesses and learn about the unique story behind every creation.

The picture postcard village of Tissington is located just a few minutes drive from the popular market town of Ashbourne in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District.  Our venue, Tissington Village Hall, is located across the road from the idyllic village duck pond which with the arrival of spring, becomes an ideal spot for watching the adorable ducklings, adding an extra touch of delight to your visit.

This Weekend's Makers

Our markets feature a changing lineup of small artisan businesses to provide an exciting and enjoyable experience each time you visit.

Carrie’s small business started as a way for her to channel her creativity. Taking inspiration from nature, adventure and the great outdoors, her pieces are made from locally sourced materials wherever possible. Her range includes everything from bud vases and trinket boxes to earrings and bookmarks.

Nature Inspired Artwork by Claire Cerysanne Groves - (25th May)
Claire has been working as a full time artist for the last six years. Her stunning wildlife pieces come straight from the heart and are usually unplanned with Claire following her instinct when choosing which animal to paint next. Her collection is a must-see for animal lovers and followers of local artists alike.

Handcrafted Fine Silver and Copper Jewellery by Coppertop Jewellery - (25th May)
Caroline’s beautifully crafted jewellery combines traditional silversmithing techniques with a commitment to the environment. Her use of recycled precious metal clay results in stunning pieces inspired by nature and often featuring the texture of real leaves and acorns.
