Join us at our artisan markets on 10th & 11th August to meet some of the region's most talented makers.
Discover a wide range of carefully handcrafted and independently designed products. Chat directly with the makers to learn more about their creative journey and any custom options that may be available.
By prioritising quality and originality, our markets offer visitors the opportunity to explore a diverse array of products from nature inspired lino prints, and delicate sterling silver jewellery to colourful textiles, homewares and accessories all reflecting the skill and passion of our artisan makers.
The picture postcard village of Tissington is located just a few minutes drive from the popular market town of Ashbourne in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District. Our venue, Tissington Village Hall, is located across the road from the village duck pond. The building benefits from a Wi-Fi connection, which means many of our stallholders can accept card payments with ease.
This Weekend's Makers
Our markets feature a changing lineup of small artisan businesses to provide an exciting and enjoyable experience each time you visit.
Here's a sneak peek at some of the stalls you can expect to discover:

Nicola’s stunning ceramic pieces feature a mix of quirky characters, magical dwellings, realistic leaves, pine cones or acorns and even the odd monster! No two pieces are ever alike giving each one it’s own personality. Working from mainly stoneware or teracotta clay her pieces are suitable for both inside and the garden and are a must-see for pottery enthusiasts.
Wildlife Artwork by Claire Cerysanne Groves - (11th August)
Claire has been a full time artist for the past 6 years. Her work is largely unplanned choosing to follow her instincts when choosing her next subject rather than sticking with a series or painting the latest on trend animal. This connection with her subject allows her to bring each animal's individual character to life letting each piece tells it’s own story. Claire works in oils on canvas but also paints original works of art onto different mediums including wooden pebbles, hanging stars and bookmarks. She also offers pet portraits and custom work for a truly one of a kind gift.
